1993 - 99

Marketing Consultant with Densit a/s (High-strength concrete applications), a company within FLS Industries. Established a marketing department from scratch, providing support to four sales branches covering the areas: security barriers, wear protection, industrial flooring and offshore grouting with the following achievements:

Developed a concept for seminar planning and hosting of distributors from around the world.

Developed a design manual for the company.

Developed and maintained sales supporting material for all sales departments.

Wrote and produced the company's newsletters "PROCESS", "The Densit Gazette" and the "Densit Distributor Newsletter"

Developed the company's first Internet Homepage

1989 - 93

Marketing and PR Manager with Carnitech a/s, (at that time a company in the Sabroe Marine group - which is now York Refrigeration). Today owned by Marel hf, Iceland, Carnitech develops, produces and market food processing equipment in stainless steel. During my Carnitech days I:

Established an extensive personal network within the international trade press, which in turn lead to extensive PR in leading magazines.

Assumed responsibility for trade fair activities, planning and erecting stands at trade fairs in Denmark and abroad.

Designed and executed advertising campaigns in trade magazines worldwide.

Developed and maintained sales support concepts and technical documentation.

1980 - 89

Humanistic background from eight years as an assistant therapist at the Psychiatric Hospital of Aalborg. including a period as deputy department manager. The job raised strong demands to empathy and communicative skills on different levels.

Took extensive training courses in mental disorders and communication techniques.

Pre 1980

If we go back to the earliest days of my career, I am basically a marketing craftsman, trained in what we in those days (before the computer) called "graphic production". However, I have caught up with the necessary computer skills, and today I master most graphic applications on both the PC and Macintosh platform.

Military Service

I served in the Royal Danish Air Force from 1972 to 75 where I was trained as a Supplies Specialist (Electronics). The training included extensive courses in technical English and logistics.

Danish fluently. Reasonable English skills. Modest German, very little French and Spanish
